산 로렌초 성당

산 로렌초 성당은 이탈리아 피렌체에 있는 가장 큰 성당 중 하나이며, 도시 주 시장 지구에 위치했으며, 코시모 일 베키오부터 코시모 3세에 이르는 주요 메디치 가문 인사들 모두가 묻혀있는 곳이다. 393년에 축성되며 피렌체에서 가장 오래된 교회라고 주장 되는 곳 중 한 곳이며, 도시 성벽 바깥쪽에 있었다.

San Lorenzo

The Basilica di San Lorenzo (Basilica of St Lawrence) is one of the largest churches of Florence, Italy, situated at the centre of the city’s main market district, and the burial place of all the principal members of the Medici family from Cosimo il Vecchio to Cosimo III. It is one of several churches that claim to be the oldest in Florence; when it was consecrated in 393 it stood outside the city walls.

Laurentian Library

The Laurentian Library is a historic library in Florence, Italy, containing more than 11,000 manuscripts and 4,500 early printed books. Built in a cloister of the Medicean Basilica di San Lorenzo di Firenze under the patronage of the Medici pope Clement VII, the library was built to emphasize that the Medici were no longer merchants but members of intelligent and ecclesiastical society.
