미타카의 숲 지브리 미술관

지브리미술관은 도쿄도 미타카시에 있는 미술관이다. 일본 외에도 팬이 많은 지브리작품의 세계관을 즐길 수 있는 미술관으로 토토로가 반겨 주거나 "천공의 성 라퓨타"의 로봇병사와 만날 수 있다. 지브리미술관 특징의 하나는 정해진 관람순서가 없다는 것. 어디에서 보는가, 어떻게 볼 것인가는 본인이 자유롭게 결정한다. 캐치커피는 "미아가 되자 함께", 관내에는 가짜 문이 있거나, 세밀한 부분에 지브리의 세계관을 표현되어 있거나, 어느새 얼떨결에 이끌리게 여러 곳을 둘러보게 된다. 상설전시물에는 애니메이션의 구조를 즐겁게 알 수 있는 "움직이기 시작하는 방"과 이곳에서만 볼 수 있는 오리지널 애니메이션이 있는 미니시어터"영화전시실", "토성극장","그림 콘티와 셀화가 있는 "영화가 태어날 장소"등이 있다.

Ghibli Museum

The Ghibli Museumis a museum showcasing the work of the Japanese animation studio Studio Ghibli. It is located in Inokashira Park in Mitaka, a western city of Tokyo, Japan. The museum combines features of a children's museum, technology museum, and a fine arts museum, and is dedicated to the art and technique of animation. Some features include a replica of the Catbus from My Neighbor Totoro (1988), a cafe, bookstore, rooftop garden, and a theater for exclusive short films by Studio Ghibli.
