아미앵 대성당

아미앵의 성모 주교좌 성당 또는 아미앵 주교좌 성당, 아미앵 대성당은 아미앵 주교좌가 있는 프랑스의 로마 가톨릭교회 대성당이다. 아미앵 대성당은 완만한 산마루에 자리 잡고 있으며, 그곳에서 파리에서 북쪽으로 약 120킬로미터 떨어진 프랑스 피카르디 주의 행정수도를 유유히 가로지르는 솜 강을 내려다볼 수 있다. 아미앵 대성당은 프랑스에서 완성된 대성당 가운데 가장 높은 성당이다.-

Amiens Cathedral

The Cathedral Basilica of Our Lady of Amiens, or simply Amiens Cathedral, is a Roman Catholic church. The cathedral is the seat of the Bishop of Amiens. It is situated on a slight ridge overlooking the River Somme in Amiens, the administrative capital of the Picardy region of France, some 120km north of Paris. It is the 19th largest church in the world.

세례자 요한

세례자 요한은 기원전 1세기 말 팔레스타인 지방에서 예수 그리스도를 심판주로 묘사하는 설교를 하면서 사람들에게 세례자[1]이자 예수가 세상에 온다고 예고한 예언자이다. 신약성서 복음서와 역사가 플라비우스 요세푸스의 역사서 유대 고대사는 요한을 비중있게 언급하고 있다. 특히 복음서는 예수가 요한에게 세례 받았다고 언급한다.
