윌리엄 워즈워스 (1770-1850)

윌리엄 워즈워스는 영국의 낭만주의 시인이다. 많은 영국 낭만주의 시인이 요절한 반면, 그는 장수하여 1843년, 73세의 나이에 계관 시인이 되었다. 그는 자연의 미묘한 아름다움을 깊이 관찰하고 사랑과 고요함을 노래하여 영국의 낭만주의를 대표하였다.

William Wordsworth (1770-1850)

William Wordsworth was a major English Romantic poet who, with Samuel Taylor Coleridge, helped to launch the Romantic Age in English literature with their joint publication Lyrical Ballads (1798). Wordsworth's magnum opus is generally considered to be The Prelude, a semi-autobiographical poem of his early years that he revised and expanded a number of times.
