나스레딘

나스레딘은 13세기 셀주크 투르크에 살았다고 알려진 수피 현자이다. 그는 여러 재미있는 민담들과 일화들의 주인공으로 잘 알려져 있다. 나스레딘의 이야기들은 여러 지방으로 퍼져 어러 언어들로 번역되었다. 어떤 지역에서는 독자적인 나스레딘 이야기를 만들어 냈지만 전체적으로 보았을때 모두 공유하는 부분들을 지니고 있다.

Nasreddin

Nasreddin or Nasreddin Hodja was a Seljuq satirical, born in Hortu Village in Sivrihisar, Eskişehir Province, present-day Turkey and died in 13th century in Akşehir, near Konya, a capital of the Seljuk Sultanate of Rum, in today's Turkey. He is considered a populist philosopher and wise man, remembered for his funny stories and anecdotes.
