이에르베 엘 아구아

이에르베 엘 아구아는 멕시코 오악사카주에 위치한 탄산칼슘 성분의 바위 구성물이다. 석회석(탄산칼슘)이 오랜 기간 쌓이면서 50m 높이까지 구성물이 자리 잡아 마치 흘러내리는 폭포의 형상처럼 되어 장관을 연출한다.

Hierve el Agua

Hierve el Agua is a set of natural rock formations in the Mexican state of Oaxaca that resemble cascades of water. The site is located about 70 km east of Oaxaca city, past Mitla, in the municipality of San Lorenzo Albarradas, with a narrow, winding unpaved road leading to the site. The site consists of two rock shelves or cliffs which rise between fifty and ninety metres from the valley below, from which extend nearly white rock formations which look like waterfalls.
