쿠엥카 구 성곽도시

쿠엥카는 무어인이 코르도바 칼리프의 심장부에 지은 방어 거점으로, 보존 상태가 뛰어난 중세의 요새 도시이다. 12세기에 카스티야 왕국에 의해 점령된 후, 스페인의 최초의 고딕 양식 성당으로 우에카르 강변의 가파른 절벽에 세운 ‘허공에 매달린 집’ 등의 중요한 건물들이 있는 로열 타운(Royal town)이자 주교좌 도시가 되었다.
