호안 미로 (1893-1983)

호안 미로 이 페라은 스페인 카탈루냐 지방의 바르셀로나 출신의 화가, 조각가, 도예가이다. 바르셀로나 근처인 몬토로이크에서 출생하여 바르셀로나 미술 학교를 중퇴하고 1919년 파리로 나와 작품 활동을 시작하였다.

Joan Miró

Joan Miró i Ferrà (20 April 1893 – 25 December 1983) was a Spanish painter, sculptor, and ceramicist born in Barcelona. A museum dedicated to his work, the Fundació Joan Miró, was established in his native city of Barcelona in 1975, and another, the Fundació Pilar i Joan Miró, was established in his adoptive city of Palma de Mallorca in 1981.

"현대미술의 중심인 호안 미로 재단"은 카탈로니아 바르셀로나에 있는 몬주익라고 불리는 언덕에 위치한 호안 미로를 기리는 현대 미술 박물관이다. 재단에 대한 아이디어는 1968년 호안 미로에 의해 만들어졌다. 미로는 그의 친구인 Joan Prats와 함께 재단을 설립했다.

"Joan Miró Foundation, Centre of Studies of Contemporary Art" is a museum of modern art honoring Joan Miró located on the hill called Montjuïc in Barcelona, Catalonia. The idea for the foundation was made in 1968 by Joan Miró. Miró formed the foundation with his friend Joan Prats.
