인도큰느시

인도큰느시는 두루미목 느시과의 조류로, 몸길이 92~122cm이다. 목과 다리가 길며, 몸 윗면은 갈색이고 날개덮깃은 흰 점무늬가 있는 검은색이다. 목은 회색을 띤 흰색이고 윗머리 장식 술은 검은색이다.

Great Indian bustard

The Great Indian Bustard (Ardeotis nigriceps) or Indian bustard is a bustard found on the Indian subcontinent. A large bird with a horizontal body and long bare legs, giving it an ostrich like appearance, this bird is among the heaviest of the flying birds. Once common on the dry plains of the Indian subcontinent, as few as 250 individuals were estimated in 2011 to survive and the species is critically endangered by hunting and loss of its habitat, which consists of large expanses of dry grassland and scrub.
