인도우주연구기구

인도우주개발기구는 인도의 우주개발을 담당하는 기구이다. 벵갈루루에 본부를 두고 있으며, 미화 약 13억 달러를 비용으로 약 2만 명의 직원이 소속되어 있다. 우주와 관련된 기술과 그 응용을 목적으로 한다. 2010년 1월 28일, 인도 이스로는 2016년 유인우주선을 발사할 계획이라고 밝혔다. 이스로가 위치한 벵갈루루에 우주인 훈련 센터를 건설하며 4년간 유인우주선을 개발할 계획이다.

The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) is the space agency of the Government of India headquartered in the city of Bangalore. Its vision is to "harness space technology for national development while pursuing space science research and planetary exploration."[
