자코모 푸치니 (1858-1924)

자코모 푸치니는 이탈리아의 오페라 작곡가이다. 주세페 베르디 이후 이탈리아가 낳은 최대의 오페라 작곡가로서 세계적인 명성을 보유하고 있다. 대표작으로 라 보엠, 토스카, 나비 부인 등이 있다. 푸치니의 오페라 중 일부 아리아 - 잔니 스키키에서 “오 사랑하는 나의 아버지”와 투란도트에서 “公主는 잠을 이루지 못하고”는 널리 알려져 있다. 푸치니는 주세페 베르디의 후계자로서, 독일 오페라와 이탈리아 오페라 기법 둘 다 성공적으로 사용한 작곡가 중 하나로 평가된다.

Giacomo Puccini (1858-1924)

Giacomo Antonio Domenico Michele Secondo Maria Puccini was an Italian opera composer who has been called "the greatest composer of Italian opera after Verdi". Puccini's early work was rooted in traditional late-19th-century romantic Italian opera. Later, he successfully developed his work in the realistic verismo style, of which he became one of the leading exponents.

푸치니 출생지

Tosca

Tosca is an opera in three acts by Giacomo Puccini to an Italian libretto by Luigi Illica and Giuseppe Giacosa. It premiered at the Teatro Costanzi in Rome on 14 January 1900. The work, based on Victorien Sardou's 1887 French-language dramatic play, La Tosca, is a melodramatic piece set in Rome in June 1800, with the Kingdom of Naples's control of Rome threatened by Napoleon's invasion of Italy. It contains depictions of torture, murder and suicide, as well as some of Puccini's best-known lyrical arias.

라 보엠(보헤미안들)은 자코모 푸치니가 작곡한 4막의 오페라이다. 앙리 뮈르제의 보헤미안의 생활을 기초로 주세페 자코사와 루이지 일리카가 이탈리아어 대본을 완성하였다. 1896년 2월 1일 토리노의 레조 극장에서 아르투로 토스카니니의 지휘로 초연되었다. 오페라 초연 후 50년이 지난 1946년에 토스카니니는 미국 라디오 방송국에서의 공연을 지휘하였고, 이 공연은 음반으로 발매되었다. 이 음반은 푸치니 오페라를 이끌던 초연의 지휘자의 녹음으로는 유일하다.
