코라손 아키노 (1933-2009)

코라손 아키노는 필리핀의 정치인이자 전직 대통령이다. 오랫동안 야당 정치인으로 활동했으며 남편인 베니그노 아키노 2세의 후광을 입어 페르디난트 마르코스가 축출된 뒤 필리핀의 제11대 대통령을 역임하였다.

Corazon Aquino (1933-2009)

Maria Corazon Cojuangco Aquino was a Filipino politician who served as the 11th President of the Philippines, becoming the first woman to hold that office. Corazon Aquino was the most prominent figure of the 1986 People Power Revolution, which ended the 20-year rule of President Ferdinand Marcos. She was named Time magazine's Woman of the Year in 1986. Prior to this, she had not held any elective office.
