Abgoosht is an Iranian stew. It is also called dizi in Iran and chainaki (Persian: چاینکی) in Afghanistan, which refers to the traditional stoneware crocks it is served in. Some describe it as a "hearty mutton Persian soup thickened with chickpeas."
