역사가 깊은 팍클롱 시장은 1700년대에 수상시장이었던 것이 육지로 올라와 수산시장이 되었다가 60여 년 전부터 지금의 꽃시장이 되었다고 한다.

Though the market is open 24 hours, it is busiest before dawn, when boats and trucks arrive with flowers from nearby provinces.
