훌라
훌라 (Hula)는 노래와 리듬에 맞추어 추는 춤이다. 이는 하와이 제도에 정착해 살던 폴리네시아인들에 의해 발전되었다. 훌라라는 것은 '오리'(타히티), '하카'(뉴질랜드)와 비교되는 '춤'으로 '춤추다'의 뜻이다. 전설로는 타히티에서 '라카'라고 하는 신이 하와이에 와서 하와이족에게 가르쳤다고 한다.
