호커 센터

호커 센터는 홍콩, 말레이시아, 싱가포르 등의 지역에서 저가 음식점의 노점과 상점을 모은 야외 복합 시설이다. 전형적인 호커 센터는 공공 주택, 버스 터미널, 기차역 부근 등 사람이 많이 모이는 장소에 설치되어 있다.

Lau Pa Sat

Lau Pa Sat is a historic building located within the Downtown Core in the Central Area of Singapore. It was first built in 1824 as a fish market on the waterfront serving the people of early colonial Singapore and rebuilt in 1838. It was then relocated and rebuilt at the present location in 1894. It is currently a food court with stalls selling a variety of local cuisine.

사테

사테는 인도네시아, 말레이시아, 브루나이, 싱가포르를 비롯한 동남아시아 지역에서 먹는 고기 꼬치 구이이다. 대표적인 자와 요리이며, 인도네시아와 말레이시아의 국민 음식 가운데 하나로 여겨진다.

Satay

Satay is a Southeast Asian dish of seasoned, skewered and grilled meat, served with a sauce. The earliest preparations of satay is believed to have originated in Javanese cuisine, but has spread to almost anywhere in Indonesia, where it has become a national dish. Indonesian satay is often served with peanut sauce – a sauce made from peanut butter, and is often accompanied with lontong, a type of rice cake, though the diversity of the country has produced a wide variety of satay recipes.
