장비묘 (張飛廟)

장비는 소설 <삼국지>를 통해 우리에게 너무 유명한 인물이 되었다. 용감무쌍한 그를 기리기 위한 사당인 장비묘는 다른 이름으로 장환후 사당으로 불린다. 이 사당은 삼국시기 말기에 만들어져서 1700년의 역사를 가지고 있다. 산기슭에 절묘하게 세워진 건물은 역사적 가치와 함께 아름다운 느낌을 만들기에 충분하다.

Zhang Fei Temple

The Zhang Fei Temple was a temple site in China. It sat on the hillside across the Yangtze River from Yunyang County in Chongqing until inundated by the Three Gorges Dam in 2006. The temple was built in honor of General Zhang Fei, a Second Century AD military leader of the Three Kingdoms Period. According to legend, the gold used to finance the construction of the temple was fished out of the river along with the severed head of the general, who had been killed by two of his underlings.

장비 (?-221)

장비는 후한 말기 ~ 촉한의 군인으로, 자는 익덕이며 탁군 사람이다. 형제 같은 유비, 관우와 생사고락을 함께 하며 이름을 떨쳤다. 무용이 뛰어나서 관우와 함께 만인적이라 불렸다. 특히 장판 전투, 서촉 공방전, 한중 공방전에서 활약했다. 관우 사후 그 복수를 위해 오나라로의 출진을 준비하던 도중 부하인 범강과 장달에게 암살당했다.

Zhang Fei (?-221)

Zhang Fei, courtesy name Yide, was a military general serving under the warlord Liu Bei in the late Eastern Han dynasty and early Three Kingdoms period of China. Zhang Fei and Guan Yu, who were among the earliest to join Liu Bei, shared a brotherly relationship with their lord and accompanied him on most of his early exploits. Zhang Fei fought in various battles on Liu Bei's side, including the Red Cliffs campaign, takeover of Yi Province, and Hanzhong Campaign.
