조아키노 로시니 (1792-1868)

조아키노 로시니는 가에타노 도니체티, 빈첸초 벨리니와 더불어 19세기 전반의 이탈리아 오페라 무대를 화려하게 장식하며 벨칸토 낭만주의의 빛나는 예술성을 꽃피웠다. 그리고 멜로디의 구성에서는 그 누구도 쉽게 비교되기 어려울 정도의 뛰어난 천재성을 선보였다. 로시니는 이탈리아의 페사로에서 관악기 주자 아버지와 소프라노 어머니 에게서 태어나, 14세인 1806년에 첫 오페라 '테메트리오와 폴리비오'를 작곡했다. 

Gioachino Rossini (1792-1868)

Gioachino Antonio Rossini was an Italian composer who wrote 39 operas as well as some sacred music, songs, chamber music, and piano pieces. He was a precocious composer of operas, and he made his debut at age 18 with La cambiale di matrimonio. His best-known operas include the Italian comedies The Barber of Seville (Il barbiere di Siviglia), The Italian Girl in Algiers, and Cinderella

세비야의 이발사

The Barber of Seville

The Barber of Seville, or The Useless Precaution (Italian: Il barbiere di Siviglia, ossia L'inutile precauzione is an opera buffa in two acts by Gioachino Rossini with an Italian libretto by Cesare Sterbini. The libretto was based on Pierre Beaumarchais's French comedy Le Barbier de Séville (1775).

라 체네렌톨라(La Cenerentola)는 조아키노 로시니가 작곡한 2막 6장의 오페라 부파이다. 샤를 페로의 동화 신데렐라와 같은 주제의 다른 대본들을 기초로, 자카보 페레치가 이탈리아어 대본은 완성하였다. 1817년 1월 25일, 로마의 발레 극장에서 초연되었다.

La Cenerentola

La Cenerentola, ossia La bontà in trionfo (Cinderella, or Goodness Triumphant) is an operatic dramma giocoso in two acts by Gioachino Rossini. The libretto was written by Jacopo Ferretti, based on the fairy tale Cendrillon by Charles Perrault. The opera was first performed in Rome's Teatro Valle on 25 January 1817.

Semiramide

Semiramide is an opera in two acts by Gioachino Rossini. The libretto by Gaetano Rossi is based on Voltaire's tragedy Semiramis, which in turn was based on the legend of Semiramis of Assyria. The opera was first performed at La Fenice in Venice on 3 February 1823.
