인디애나폴리스 500마일 자동차 경주(Indianapolis 500-Mile Race)는 인디 500(Indy 500)이라고도 불리며 매년 메모리얼 데이가 껴있는 주말에 인디애나州(주)의 인디애나폴리스 내의 스피드웨이라는 지역에 있는 인디애나폴리스 모터 스피드웨이에서 개최되는 미국의 오픈휠 자동차 경주 대회이다. 1911년 국제 500 마일 스윕스테이크 자동차 경주(International 500-Mile Sweepstakes Race)란 이름으로 처음 개최된 이래로 깊은 역사를 자랑하며, 인디카의 어원이기도 하다.

The Indianapolis 500-Mile Race (better known as the Indianapolis 500) is an automobile race held annually at Indianapolis Motor Speedway (IMS) in Speedway, Indiana, United States, an enclave suburb of Indianapolis, Indiana. The event is held over Memorial Day weekend in late May. It is contested as part of the Verizon INDYCAR Series, the top level of American Championship Car racing, an open-wheel open-cockpit formula colloquially known as "Indy Car Racing".
