묵 섬 (에메랄드 동굴)

묵 섬은 뜨랑 주변의 섬 중에서 육지와 가장 가까운 섬이다. 섬의 동쪽에는 수상 가옥 형태의 무슬림 어촌 마을이 형성돼 있고, 섬의 서쪽은 절벽과 해안선이 만나 절경을 선사한다. 특히 에메랄드 동굴이라 불리는 탐 모라콧은 동굴 내부에 천연의 해변을 지닌 동굴이다. 동굴 내부에 다양한 식물들이 자라나고 동굴 위로는 구멍이 뚫려 있어 원형의 하늘을 볼 수 있다.

Emerald Cave (Thailand)

Emerald Cave is a cave located on the west coast of Muk Island, which is in the Kantang District of Trang Province of Southern Thailand. The cave has a narrow 80m long tunnel. The cave can be entered either by swimming or by using a small boat. Access is only possible during low tide.
