제인 구달 (1934-2025)

제인 모리스 구달 여사는 영국의 동물학자, 환경운동가이다. 침팬지의 행동 연구 분야에 대한 세계 최고 권위자로 꼽힌다. 1960년 아프리카의 곰베 침팬지 보호구역에서 10여 년간 침팬지에 대한 연구를 진행하면서 침팬지에 관한 다양한 행동들에 대한 사실을 발견해 내었다.

Jane Goodall (1934-2025)

Jane Morris Goodall formerly Baroness Jane van Lawick-Goodall, is an English primatologist and anthropologist. Considered to be the world's foremost expert on chimpanzees, Goodall is best known for her over 55-year study of social and family interactions of wild chimpanzees since she first went to Gombe Stream National Park, Tanzania in 1960.
