나일악어

나일악어는 아프리카 일대에서 서식하는 크로커다일과의 악어이다. 아메리카의 대형 악어들인 오리노코악어와 아메리카악어와 근연종으로, 크로커다일에 속한다. 아프리카에 서식하는 악어들 중에서 가장 서식 범위가 넓고 흔히 볼 수 있는 악어 종이며, 멸종 위기에 처해있지 않은 종이다.

Nile Crocodile

The Nile crocodile is an African crocodile, the largest freshwater predator in Africa, and may be considered the second-largest extant reptile and crocodilian in the world, after the saltwater crocodile. The Nile crocodile is quite widespread throughout sub-Saharan Africa, occurring mostly in the central, eastern, and southern regions of the continent, and lives in different types of aquatic environments such as lakes, rivers, and marshlands.
