왓퍼드 FC

왓퍼드 축구 클럽(영어: Watford Football Club)은 하트퍼드셔주 왓퍼드를 연고로 하는 잉글랜드 프리미어리그의 축구단이다. 1976년 엘튼 존이 이 팀을 인수해 1987년까지 구단주를 지냈으며, 2012년부터 이탈리아의 포초 일가가 구단주를 맡고 있다. 왓퍼드의 전통적인 라이벌은 루턴 타운으로 알려져 있다.

Watford Football Club is a professional football club based in Watford, Hertfordshire, England, that plays in the Premier League, the highest level in the English football league system. Founded in 1898 by the amalgamation of West Herts and Watford St. Mary's. After finishing the 1914–15 season as Southern League champions under the management of Harry Kent, Watford joined the Football League in 1920.
