1980년 동계 올림픽은 1980년 2월 14일부터 2월 23일까지 미국 뉴욕주 레이크플래시드에서 개최된 제13회 동계 올림픽이다. 또 다른 후보 도시인 캐나다 밴쿠버는 최종 투표에서 탈락했다. 37개 나라에서 선수단을 파견했으며 중국, 코스타리카, 키프로스 3개국이 처음으로 동계 올림픽에 참가했다.

The 1980 Winter Olympics was a multi-sport event which was celebrated from February 13, through February 24, 1980, in Lake Placid, New York, United States. This was the second time the Upstate New York village hosted the Games, after 1932.
