가에타노 도니체티 (1797-1848)

도메니코 가에타노 마리아 도니체티는 이탈리아의 오페라 작곡가이다. 그의 가장 유명한 작품으로는 '람메르무어의 루치아', '사랑의 묘약'이 있다. 도니체티는 빈첸초 벨리니, 조아키노 로시니와 함께 19세기 전반 벨칸토 오페라를 주도하였다. 75개의 오페라, 16개의 교향곡, 19개의 현악 사중주, 193개의 노래, 45개의 듀엣, 3개의 오라토리오, 기악 협주곡, 소나타, 기타 실내악등의 작품을 작곡했다.

Gaetano Donizetti (1797-1848)

Domenico Gaetano Maria Donizetti was an Italian composer. Along with Gioachino Rossini and Vincenzo Bellini, Donizetti was a leading composer of the bel canto opera style during the first half of the nineteenth century. Donizetti's close association with the bel canto style was undoubtedly an influence on other composers such as Giuseppe Verdi.

사랑의 묘약

사랑의 묘약은 가에타노 도니제티가 펠리체 로마니의 대본을 바탕으로 작곡한 2막짜리 오페라이다. 1832년 5월 12일 밀라노의 카노비아나 극장에서 초연되었다. 도니체티는 이 작품을 단 2주일만에 썼다고 한다. 2막에서 네모리노가 부르는 아리아 '남몰래 흘리는 눈물'이 특히 유명하다.

L'elisir d'amore

L'elisir d'amore in two acts by the Italian composer Gaetano Donizetti. Felice Romani wrote the Italian libretto, after Eugène Scribe's libretto for Daniel Auber's Le philtre (es) (1831). The opera premiered on 12 May 1832 at the Teatro della Canobbiana in Milan.
