FC 제니트 상트페테르부르크는 상트페테르부르크를 연고로 하는 러시아의 프로 축구 클럽으로 1925년에 창단되었다. 제니트는 러시아어로 "천정, 정점, 절정"을 뜻한다. 제니트는 2007년 러시아 프리미어리그 우승을 하였고, 클럽 역사상 최초로 ,UEFA컵 2007-08의 우승을 차지하였으며 2008년, 맨체스터 유나이티드를 2-1로 꺾고 UEFA 슈퍼컵을 들어올렸으며, 현재 감독은 로베르토 만치니의 뒤를 이어, 러시아의 세르게이 세마크이다.

Football Club Zenit, also known as Zenit Saint Petersburg or simply Zenit, is a Russian football club from the city of Saint Petersburg. Founded in 192, the club plays in the Russian Premier League. Zenit were the 2007, 2010, 2011–12 and 2014–15 champions of the Russian Premier League and the winners of both the 2007–08 UEFA Cup and the 2008 UEFA Super Cup. The club is owned and sponsored by a Russian state-owned energy giant Gazprom.
