무주 곤충박물관

반디랜드는 반딧불이를 체험하고 학습, 관람할 수 있는 곳으로, 희귀 곤충을 만날 수 있는 곤충박물관, 반딧불이연구소, 청소년야영장, 통나무집, 반딧불이 서식지가 있는 체험 학습 교육 공간이다. 반디랜드내에 위치한 무주 반디별 천문과학관에서는 우주의 탄생과 역사, 태양계, 별자리, 우주환경에 대해 배울 수 있다.

Bandi Land

Geared mainly towards children, Bandi Land is an excellent place to learn about and experience fireflies and other insects. It is comprised of Insect Museum, Firefly Research Lab, Youth Camping Site, Log Cabin, and Firefly Habitat. Located inside of Bandi Land, Muju Bandibyeol Astronomical Science Museum teaches various stories about space, including the birth & history of space, solar system, constellation, and space circumstance as well as exhibitions related to fireflies, an indicator insect proving Muju is a clean area, to add more fun to visit this theme park.

무주 반딧불축제

천연기념물 제322호로 지정돼 있는 ‘반딧불이와 그 먹이 다슬기 서식지’가 소재인 무주반딧불축제는 ‘자연 속에서 자연을 배우며 자연을 즐기는 환경축제’로서의 브랜드 가치를 자랑한다.

Muju Firefly Festival

The Muju Firefly Festival takes place in the pure environment of Muju, a natural habitat for fireflies and the marsh snails the fireflies feed on. The festival offers many attractions and activities but the highlight of the festival starts after 20:00 when the fireflies begin to light up the night sky.
