파코 데 루치아 (1947-2014)

파코 데 루시아 (Francisco Gustavo Sánchez Gomez / Paco de Lucía)는 스페인의 플라멩코 기타리스트, 작곡가, 프로듀서로 빠르고 유연한 피카도스로 유명하다. 2014년 2월 25일, 가족과 함께 멕시코 킨타나로오 주 플라야델카르멘에서 휴가를 보내던 중 심근 경색으로 사망했다.

Francisco Gustavo Sánchez Gomes (Paco de Lucía) was a Spanish virtuoso flamenco guitarist, composer, and record producer. A leading proponent of the new flamenco style, he was one of the first flamenco guitarists to branch into classical and jazz. Richard Chapman and Eric Clapton, authors of Guitar: Music, History, Players, describe de Lucía as a "titanic figure in the world of flamenco guitar",and Dennis Koster, author of Guitar Atlas, Flamenco, has referred to de Lucía as "one of history's greatest guitarists".
