곰쿠스쿠스

쿠스쿠스곰은 나무늘보보다 크게 자라기 때문에 유대류이며 곰과 비슷하다. 몸의 길이는 56cm이고 꼬리 길이가 약 54cm이며, 몸무게는 8kg 정도이다. 쿠스쿠스곰은 교미를 할 때를 제외하고는 거의 소리를 내지 않는 조용한 동물이다. 이 곰은 주행성지만 수면과 휴식을 특히 선호하고, 나뭇잎이나 과일을 먹는 때 외에는 거의 움직임이 없다.
