도조 히데키 (東條英機, 1884-1948)
도조 히데키는 일본 제국의 군인, 정치인이다. 1941년 10월 18일부터 1944년 7월 18일까지 내각총리대신을 지냈으며 육군대신, 내무대신, 외무대신, 문부대신, 상공대신, 군수대신 등을 지냈다. 태평양 전쟁을 일으킨 A급 전범으로 손꼽힌다.

Hideki Tojo (1884-1948)
Hideki Tojo was a Japanese politician and general of the Imperial Japanese Army who served as Prime Minister of Japan and President of the Imperial Rule Assistance Association for most of World War II. Tojo began his career in the Army in 1905 and steadily rose through the ranks to become a general by 1934. In March 1937, he was promoted to Chief of Staff of the Kwantung Army whereby he led military operations against the Chinese in Inner Mongolia and the Chahar-Suiyan provinces. On 22 July 1940, he was appointed Minister of War in Prime Minister Fumimaro Konoe’s cabinet.
