환구단(圜丘壇)

환구단은 서울특별시 중구 소공동에 위치한 천자가 하늘에 제사를 지내는 단이다. 원구단이라고도 하는데, 예로부터 '천원지방'이라 하여 하늘에 제사지내는 단은 둥글게, 땅에 제사지내는 단은 모나게 쌓았기 때문이다. 대한민국의 사적 157호로 지정된 환구단은 고종 대에 있던 환구단 터로, 현재 조선호텔 자리이다.
