요부코 아침시장

사가 현 가라츠 시의 마츠우라쵸 상점가에 있는 아침 시장 거리에서는 오전 7시 반부터 11시까지 1월 1일을 제외하고 매일 시장이 열린다. 일본의 3대 아침 시장 중의 하나인 이 요부코 아침 시장(呼子の朝市)의 핵심은 뭐니뭐니해도 갓 잡은 신선한 해산물이다. 약 200m의 시장 거리에는 평일엔 약 50점포, 주말이면 약 70여 개의 점포가 늘어서는데, 해산물뿐 아니라 채소나 꽃, 일용품까지 폭넓은 상품이 한 데 모인다.

Yobuko Morning Market

In Karatsu, Saga, there is a commercial street called Asaichi-dori in Matsuura-cho. Here, the market is open from 7:30 in the morning, everyday except January 1. In fact, Yobuko's morning market is one of the three biggest morning markets in Japan. Fresh seafood that comes directly from fishing trawlers is the specialty of this place. On the approx. 200 m long Asaichi-dori, there are about 50 stores on weekdays. On weekends, about 70 stores open up on this street. In addition to seafood, you can also find a variety of products including vegetables, flowers and other products of everyday life. Enjoy walking on this street while snacking and looking at the products.
