콘스탄티누스 1세 (274-337)
콘스탄티누스 1세는 중기 로마 황제(재위 306년 - 337년)이다. 흔히 기독교사에서는 콘스탄티누스 대제로 통칭하며, 동방 정교회는 모두 그를 성인으로 추대하여 성 (대) 콘스탄티누스로 호칭한다. 306년 7월 25일 브리타니아의 요크에서 병사들에 의해 군주로 추대되어 죽는 날까지 로마 제국을 통치했다.

Constantine the Great, also known as Constantine I, was a Roman Emperor who ruled between 306 and 337 AD. Born on the territory now known as Niš, he was the son of Flavius Valerius Constantius, a Roman Army officer of Illyrian origins. His mother Helena was Greek.
