스페인 내전 (1936-1939)

스페인 내전(은 마누엘 아사냐가 이끄는 좌파 인민전선 정부와 프란시스코 프랑코를 중심으로 한 우파 반란군 사이에 있었던 스페인의 내전이다. 1936년 7월 17일 모로코에서 프란시스코 프랑코 장군이 쿠데타를 일으켜 내전이 시작되었고, 1939년 4월 1일에 공화파 정부가 마드리드에서 항복하여 프랑코 측의 승리로 끝났다.

Spanish Civil War

The Spanish Civil War, widely known in Spain simply as The Civil War or The War (Spanish: La Guerra), took place from 1936 to 1939. The Republicans, who were loyal to the left-leaning and relatively urban Second Spanish Republic, in an alliance of convenience with the Anarchists and Communists, fought against the Nationalists, a Falangist, Carlist, Catholic, and largely aristocratic group led by General Francisco Franco.
