기아 타이거즈
KIA 타이거즈는 광주광역시를 연고지로 하는 KBO 소속프로야구 팀이다. 현대자동차그룹 계열사이고 주식회사이다. 홈구장은 광주광역시 북구 임동에 위치한 광주-기아 챔피언스 필드이다. 1982년 1월 30일 대한민국의 프로 야구 출범과 함께 해태 타이거즈가 창단되었으며, 2001년 8월 1일 기아자동차가 해태 타이거즈를 인수 대금 180억 원과 KBO 가입금 30억원 등 총 210억원을 KBO에 팀 인수 창단 금액으로 내고, 팀을 인수하여 현재의 이름으로 바뀌었다.
