LG 트윈스
LG 트윈스는 서울특별시를 연고지로 하는 KBO 소속 프로 야구단이다. 주식회사로서 LG그룹의 계열사이다. 서울특별시 송파구 잠실동에 있는 잠실 야구장을 두산 베어스와 함께 공동 홈 구장으로 사용하고 있다. 1990년 1월 18일 MBC 청룡 인수조인식을 통해 인수작업을 완료하였으며 1990년 3월 15일에 LG 트윈스로 공식 창단식을 거행하였다. LG 트윈스로 창단 첫 해인 1990년에 한국시리즈 우승을 차지했고, 이어 1994년에 2번째 한국시리즈 우승을 차지했다.

LG Twins Baseball Club is a South Korean professional baseball team based in Seoul, South Korea. They are a member of the KBO League and are one of the most popular baseball teams in Korea. They gained many fans in the 1980s–2000s, most of whom live in Seoul. The club was first established as MBC Chungyong owned by Munhwa Broadcasting Corporation until 1989, when it was then taken over by LG Corporation.
