kt 위즈는 경기도 수원시를 연고지로 삼고 KBO 리그에 참가한 열 번째 구단이다. 수원야구장의 시설을 25,000여 석으로 개량하여 홈경기장으로 사용하고 있다. 2013년 프로야구 신인 선수 지명회의를 통해 신인 선수를 수급하였으며, 2014년 KBO 퓨처스리그에 참여하고 2015년부터 KBO 리그에 참가했다.

KT Wiz is a South Korean professional baseball team founded in 2013. Their home stadium is Suwon Baseball Stadium in Suwon. They were a member of the Freedom Division of the KBO Futures League, which is not affiliated with Korea Baseball Organization. On January 11, 2013, Korean Baseball Organization officially approved of KT Baseball Club' admission to KBO League start off 2015 season.
