FC 낭트
제2차 세계 대전 중 1943년 4월 21일, 낭트에 연고지를 둔 여러 클럽이 합병하여 단일 빅 클럽이 될 것을 목적으로 FC 낭트가 창설되었다. 1963년부터 르 샹피오나(현재의 리그앙)에 속해 44년간을 최상위 리그에서 경쟁했지만 2007년 강등당했다. 이듬해인 2008년 승격했지만 2009년 또다시 강등당했고, 2013년에야 리그두 3위로 다시 리그앙으로 돌아와 현재에 이르고 있다.

FC Nantes
The club was founded on 21 April 1943, during World War II, as a result of local clubs based in the city coming together to form one large club. From 1992 to 2007, the club was referred to as FC Nantes Atlantique before reverting to its current name at the start of the 2007–08 season. Nantes currently play in Ligue 1, the first division of French football.
