마카오 타워

높이 338미터의 마카오 최고층 건물. 길이가 100m에 이르는 수직 사다리를 타고 올라가면 마카오 타워 꼭대기에 다다를 수 있다. 마카오 타워 223m 지점에 설치된 세계에서 가장 높은 번지 점프대에서 시속 200km의 아찔한 속도로 점프할 수도 있다. 팬 디센더스 기술을 활용한 스카이 점프에 도전하면, 몸이 뒤집히거나 튀는 일 없이 시속 75km의 속도로 하늘을 나는 듯한 경험을 할 수 있다. 지상에 닿을 즈음에는 속도가 감속되어 안전하게 착륙할 수 있다. 마카오 타워 223m 지점에 설치된 발판을 따라 마카오 타워의 주위를 걷는 스카이워커 X의 발판 주위에는 난간이 설치돼 있지 않으며, 대신 체험자들은 세계 최초로 도입된 머리 위 안전 지지대에 의지해 발판을 걸어가게 된다. 안전은 확실하게 보장돼 있지만 난간이 없다는 사실만으로도 아슬아슬한 느낌은 배가 된다

Macau Tower

Macau Tower is 338 m in height from ground level to the highest point. Its observation deck features views, restaurants, theaters, shopping malls and the Skywalk X, a walking tour around the outer rim. It offers the best view of Macau and in recent years has been used for a variety of adventurous activities. At 233m, the Macau Tower's tethered "skyjump" and Bungee jump by AJ Hackett from the tower's outer rim, is the highest commercial skyjump in the world (233 m), and the second highest commercial decelerator descent facility in the world, after Vegas' Stratosphere skyjump at 252m. The tower was created by the architecture firm of Moller Architects.
