동삼동 패총

패총은 선사시대에 인류가 먹고 버린 조가비와 생활쓰레기가 쌓여 이루어진 것으로 조개더미 유적이라고 한다. 이곳은 동삼동 바닷가 언덕 비탈에 위치하며 신석기 시대 전 기간에 걸쳐 쌓인 층이 드러난 곳이다. 층위는 5층이며, 이곳에서 석기, 짐승뼈, 조가비들로 된 살림살이 유물과 농사짓는데 쓰이는 연장이 나왔다. 문양 없는 원시무문토기, 신석기시대의 대표적인 토기인 빗살무늬토기가 출토되었다.

Shell Mound in Dongsam-dong

The shell mound was formed in the Prehistoric Age by the waste shells that piled up after being thrown away by local inhabitants after eating shellfish. Through it, we can see something of the living pattern of the age. The site is located on a hill slope near the seashore in Dongsam-dong. It shows earth layers piled up over a long time through the duration of the New Stone Age.
