S.S. 라치오
소시에타 포디스티카 라치오는 1900년 1월 9일에 로마의 프라티 지구에서 창단됐다. 라치오는 1910년에 공식적으로 축구부를 만들어 1912년부터 리그에 참가했다. 1927년 파시스트 정권의 영향 하에서 로마 구단들이 통합하여 AS 로마를 창단할 때, 라치오는 이를 거부하고 독자 노선을 걸었다. 라치오의 창단을 주도한 것은 군 장교들이었고, 당시 라치오의 팬이었던 조르지오 바카로 장군은 무솔리니에게 팀이 합병당하지 않도록 건의했다. 클럽은 세리에 A가 처음 조직된 1929년부터 참가했고, 1937년에 이탈리아의 전설적인 스트라이커 실비오 피올라를 앞세워 2차 세계대전 발발 전 최고 성적인 2위를 기록했다.

Società Sportiva Lazio S.p.A. is a professional Italian sports club based in Rome, most known for its football activity. The society, founded in 1900, plays in the Serie A and have spent most of their history in the top tier of Italian football. Lazio have been Italian champions twice (1974, 2000), and have won the Coppa Italia six times, the Supercoppa Italiana four times, and both the UEFA Cup Winners' Cup and UEFA Super Cup on one occasion.
